The Gold Coast Football Club’s mascot ‘GC' was among the thousands of people who flocked to the annual Mudgeeraba show. Joined with Hot Tomato, ‘GC' trekked through the showground to take part in the many activities that were held and also provided some activities of his own. Handball and kicking competitions were held at the AFL/Hot Tomato stall with numerous kids taking part. There were also showbags and many prizes handed out to the community.

The Gold Coast Football club and AFL Gold Coast Juniors have joined together in a bid to endorse young kids to play AFL.
This is a move that sees GCFC players carrying out Auskick sessions at clubs all over the Coast, as well as providing the junior players with gifts, such as footballs and posters.
Todd Grayson, Charlie Dixon, and Troy Jameson headed to Pacific Pines Power Football club last Wednesday to hold the second session of the joint plan. Gerard Moore, Declan Bevan and Jack Stanley held the third session at the Labrador Tigers Football Club last Thursday.
