GCFC Promo Team in South Ballina NSW

Today the Gold Coast Football Club Promo Squad headed to Empire Vale State School in South Ballina for an AFL Skills day. 

Approximately 80 - 100 students took part and a great day was had by all.

Surfers Paradise Juniors Play At GCFC Game

Surfers Paradise Demons Under 10's played at half time to the GCFC game on Saturday at GC Stadium, Carrara. As part of a GCFC & AFLGC Juniors initiative, the kids wore GCFC mini league jumpers and then cheered the currect GCFC team back onto the ground after their half-time break. The Surfers Paradise & Labrador Tigers U 16's played a curtain raiser to the GCFC v Western Jets game.

Gold Coast Football Club GCFC players Zac Smith & Matt Fowler & our mascot 'GC' featured on The Today Show this morning.

The players had a kick with some fans & chatted to weatherman Steve Jacobs down at the beautiful Burleigh Beach.

TXT4U Student Reporters Press Conference

Today a group of TXT4U student reporters took part in a mock press conference organised by AFLQ & GCFC.

The students were able to ask a panel of AFL sportsmen a number of questions about the past, present & future of AFL on the Gold Coast.

Super Skills Clinic

The 2009 Super Skills Clinic was held at Carrara Stadium on Tuesday 30th June and Thursday 2nd July.

Boys and girls between 7 and 12 years participated in this fun AFL experience during their school holidays. It included 2 days packed with fun, skills sessions and tuition from qualified AFLQ game development staff.

Richmond and Gold Coast Football Club players assisted with the drills and skills sessions, and 'GC' the GCFC mascot also made a couple of appearances for the kids.
