The Gold Coast SUNS are proud to announce the commencement of the new Gold Coast SUNS Cup for 2011.
The Gold Coast SUNS Cup is a state-wide primary school competition that Grade 6 and 7 boys and girls (Carol Berry Cup) can enter. The four finalist state wide then get the opportunity to participate on Metricon Stadium in August.
The Gold Coast SUNS Cup will see over 2,000 participants competing from over 120 teams from all over Queensland for a place in the final.
The participants from competing schools participating in the final will receive:
• Gold Coast SUNS poster
• Meet the Gold Coast SUNS players in person (and get autographs)
• Play 3 games on Metricon Stadium
The runner up school will also receive:
• Runner up medallions for all players
The winning school will also receive:
• A Gold Coast SUNS jumper signed by all players and presented by a Gold Coast SUNS player on assembly
• The Gold Coast SUNS CUP perpetual trophy
• Each participant of the winning school will receive a GC SUNS Cup medallion
