Gold Coast SUNS Cup

The Gold Coast SUNS will again support participation in school football for both boys and girls through its involvement in the Gold Coast SUNS Cup for 2013.

The Gold Coast SUNS Cup is a state-wide school competition that has 3 categories being:
• Year 8 & 9 boys
• Primary school boys
• Primary school girls

The four finalists state wide from each category then get the opportunity to participate on Metricon Stadium in August.

In 2013, the Gold Coast SUNS Cup will see over 2,700 participants competing from over 160 teams from all over Queensland for a place in the final.

The participants from competing schools participating in the final will receive:
• Gold Coast SUNS poster
• Meet the Gold Coast SUNS players
• Play on Metricon Stadium

The runner up school will also receive:
• Runner up medallions for all players

The winning school will also receive:
• A signed Gold Coast SUNS Guernsey
• The Gold Coast SUNS CUP perpetual trophy
• A Gold Coast SUNS Cup premiers medallion for all players
