2XU has arrived

The wait is over and now you can wear the same high tech playing guernsey as your favourite Gold Coast SUNS players following the arrival of the Club’s official 2XU playing, training and supporter apparel.

The hard work is already being done on and off the field with a new look coaching staff, the recruitment of the best high performance team in the country and an improved playing list. Adding to this, the GC SUNS on field apparel and compression partnership with 2XU is certainly viewed as a key move in the Clubs commitment to providing an environment of high performance.

Produced in consultation with the GC SUNS players, the 2013 2XU Guernsey’s include industry leading design and technology with the products already proving a big hit with the playing group.

Young Gun Jaeger O’Meara a 2XU convert after wearing it extensively during the teams recent high performance altitude training camp in Arizona.

"It definitely helped us a lot with our recovery and I think the guys were wearing compression garments on the plane on the way over and at night time while we were sleeping as well, so we were ready to go for the next day and it definitely helped us."

2XU Technology

Performance quick dry chamois panels
To facilitate dry, grip-friendly hands, 2XU has engineered subtle chamois panels into the sides of the GC SUNS Guernsey’s for swift removal of moisture on the palms and fingers. Ultra absorbent and quick to dry.

Unparalleled breathability and strength with minimal bulk
The 2XU 2013 Guernsey is built with strong, highly durable fabric with outstanding tear resistance. The 2013 Guernsey is light in weight with premium breathability.

High visibility numbers and colour scheme
Replacing previous years white numbers, the 2013 2XU possesses striking yellow numbers with a white outline. The 2013 Guernsey colour palette has also been brightened for maximum contrast against opposition and the ground itself.

Back Yoke design feature with GC SUNS emblem
For greater player comfort and ergonomic fit, 2XU has introduced a back yolk design to move in harmony with the wearer. Complete with a bright GC SUNS emblem for added branding.

The GC SUNS players put the new 2XU range through a thorough testing process in Arizona and the products are now available online from the GC SUNS Shop.
