It was a night to forget in Canberra on the weekend, with Greater Western Sydney putting the Gold Coast SUNS to the sword in wet and miserable conditions in the nation's capital.

In the absence of Gary Ablett, Michael Rischitelli continued his strong start to 2015 with another great performance. The stand-in-captain collected 31 possessions, nine clearances, seven tackles and six inside 50s to once again be Gold Coast’s most prolific player on the ground.

Similar to Rischitelli, ball-magnet Dion Prestia picked up where he left off last week with another dependable performance against the Giants. The hard working onballer gathered 29 disposals (15 contested) and eight clearances to yet again be one of the SUNS' best players.

First-year player Touk Miller has gradually improved from week to week in his debut season, and again on Saturday night in the face of adversity, the well-built teenager put together his best performance yet. Miller accumulated a career-high 22 possessions to put himself in the conversation for a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination this week.

The ever-reliable David Swallow produced another blue collar four quarter effort against Greater Western Sydney with 20 disposals, eight tackles and eight inside 50s highlighting his value on an otherwise difficult night for Rodney Eade’s men.
