The Gold Coast SUNS will kick off its 2016 Australia Post AFL Community Camp across the Gold Coast tomorrow.

The GC SUNS 2016 playing list will this week spread across the city and south of the border for the #aflcommunitycamp, completing clinics and school appearances on the Gold Coast and in Ballina, Lismore, Byron Bay and the Tweed.

SUNS Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Travis said the club was thrilled the 2016 camp will be based on the Gold Coast and throughout Northern New South Wales.

“The Gold Coast SUNS were established because the community wanted an AFL club and was prepared to rise up and run a successful campaign to secure an AFL licence.

“Our engagement is authentic. It is deep and it is important to us. It is the reason we exist,” Travis said.

The SUNS will visit over 40 primary and secondary schools and nine junior clubs throughout the 2016 Australia Post Community Camp.
