Defender Adam Saad has been withdrawn from the Gold Coast SUNS' preliminary 25-man squad and won’t feature in the side’s round 14 match against Hawthorn at Aurora Stadium on Sunday.
GM - Football of Operations, Marcus Ashcroft, provided an update on Saad.
"Unfortunately for Adam he reported hamstring tightness at Friday's training session,” Ashcroft said.
"After being assessed by club medical staff, a decision was made to rule him out of Sunday's match against Hawthorn."
The dashing half-back will be replaced by Mackenzie Willis, who comes into the preliminary squad.
The senior team will be finalised at 5pm.
