Opposition watch: Defender ruled out

Adelaide defender Jake Kelly has been ruled out of the round five clash against the Gold Coast SUNS at Metricon Stadium on Saturday.

Kelly sustained an eye injury during the second quarter of the Crow’s round four game and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Although the defender has been taken out of the selection equation wingman Charlie Cameron is expected to be available despite experiencing a sore hip in round four.

Forward Josh Jenkins could also factor into selection for Saturday night’s match after increasing his training loads during the week.
