Callum Ah Chee returns to the Gold Coast SUNS team for the side’s round six clash against Adelaide at Metricon Stadium.

The clever forward has been named on the SUNS’ interchange bench, returning to senior level after two impressive performances on the NEAFL team.

As revealed in this week’s Optomo Injury Report, Steven May has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and is likely to spend a short stint on the sidelines.

A re-shuffle of sorts will see Jack Leslie & Kade Kolodjashnij anchor the SUNS’ backline, in the absence May and regular key defender Rory Thompson (quad).

Rookie utility Keegan Brooksby has been elevated onto the primary list, and has been named as emergencies alongside Jesse Lonergan and Brad Scheer.

In May’s absence, captain Tom Lynch will lead the team out as stand-alone skipper for the first time since taking over the captaincy on a full-time basis.

Kicking a career-best seven goals against Carlton last weekend, Lynch will be out to replicate his performance when the Crows visit Queensland on Saturday.
