Experienced campaigners, Michael Barlow and Gary Ablett led the way in AFL Fantasy scores in Gold Coast’s 67-point loss to the undefeated Adelaide Crows.

Barlow continues to attract big scores, as he has over the course of his career, finishing with 127 points from his 36 disposal display.

His average moves up to 90.4 and he appears a great choice if coaches are looking to upgrade a rookie to a premium midfielder as he is at an affordable $527,000.

He has the added benefit of being awarded dual-position (DPP) status and can now be selected as a MID or FWD.

Ablett produced yet another 100+ performance with 118 points as a result of 33 disposals along with five tackles.

He is averaging 124.7 points in the last three games alone, yet is owned by only 5.46% of AFL Fantasy coaches.

He is currently the 20th highest-scoring player in the competition and is always a captaincy candidate. He is Mr Consistent and will generally deliver with a big score.

Another that impressed was young defender, Jesse Joyce who has improved more than expected in 2017.

Finishing with 86 points against the Crows, he is at a reasonable price of $320,000 and is one to keep a watch on as his value is likely to continue to grow as he attempts to cement his spot in the SUNS’ back six.

Joyce’s value went up another $19,000 this week and has now risen $65,000 for the year, so if you’re looking for a good downgrade option to make some cash, Jesse Joyce could be your man.

He is owned by just 0.71% of all AFL Fantasy coaches so is a potential point of difference for head to head match-ups.

Popular picks David Swallow (60) and Jarrod Witts (66) were down on their season averages and will be looking to bounce back against North Melbourne on Saturday night.
