All players accepted the sanctions offered by the Match Review Panel from its review of the matches played in round 13 of the 2017 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

This included Gold Coast SUN Matt Rosa, who on Monday was charged by the Match Review Panel with striking Carlton player Dale Thomas during the second quarter of Saturday's match.

The incident was originally classified as a two-match sanction, however Rosa has no applicable record which impacts the penalty.

An early plea enabled Rosa to accept a one-match sanction, which he has taken.
