The below paperwork has been formally lodged with the AFL as part of the NAB Trade Period.

While the Gold Coast SUNS do not yet feature in the below completed trades the team continue to work to ensure the best outcomes can be reached.

The NAB AFL Trade Period closes on Thursday October 19 at 2.00pm.

Completed Trades
1- The Western Bulldogs made an offer to Restricted Free Agent Jackson Trengove (Port Adelaide) on Friday October 6. Port Adelaide elected not to match the offer on Friday October 6 and Jackson Trengove is now able to join the Western Bulldogs immediately.

Port Adelaide FC will not receive any compensation for the loss of player Trengove, after later taking in Tom Rockliff as a free agent.

2- Port Adelaide made an offer to Restricted Free Agent Tom Rockliff (Brisbane Lions) on Tuesday October 10. The Brisbane Lions elected not to match the offer on Wednesday October 11.

Based on the player’s age and the contract offer, the AFL advised the Brisbane Lions FC it would be eligible for an end of round one compensation selection, which would be number 18 on the current provisional selection order. Should this compensation pick be traded to any other club, Brisbane is not eligible to make offers to any other 2017 Free Agent players. Should Brisbane now take in any other 2017 Free Agent players during the Free Agency Period, this compensation pick is then subject to change.

3- Melbourne trade its Round One Selection (currently number 10), its 2018 Future Round One Selection and its 2018 Future Round Four Selection to the Adelaide Crows for Jake Lever, its Round Two Selection (currently number 35) and its 2018 Future Round Three selection.

4- GWS Giants trade Devon Smith, its Round Two Selection (currently number 24) and its 2018 Future Round Two Selection to Essendon for its Round One Selection (currently number 11) and its 2018 Future Round Three Selection.

5- Port Adelaide trade Jarman Impey, its Round Four Selection (currently number 67) to Hawthorn for its Round Two Selection (currently number 33), its Round Four Selection (currently number 61) and its 2018 Future Round Four Selection.

6- Fremantle trade Hayden Crozier and its 2018 Future Round Four Selection to the Western Bulldogs for its Round Three Selection (currently number 40) and its Round Five Selection (currently number 82).

7- Port Adelaide made an offer to Restricted Free Agent Steven Motlop (Geelong Cats) on Friday October 13. The Geelong Cats are now in the three-day period deciding whether or not to match the offer.
