NAB AFL Rookie Draft: Joshua Jaska Highlights of our #2 in the rookie draft Joshua Jaska

Gold Coast used Monday afternoon's Rookie Draft to add a further three names to the playing list.

Joshua Jaska joins the SUNS from the Geelong Falcons, while Nicholas Holman makes a return to AFL level after spending two seasons at Central District.

Mackenzie Willis was re-drafted, extending his career at the SUNS.

Pick No. 2 - Joshua Jaska (Geelong Falcons)

Gold Coast has selected tall defender Joshua Jaska with pick No. 2 in the Rookie Draft.

A 19-year old, top-age player from the Geelong Falcons, Jaska was a member of their premiership team.

He has developed significantly in the past year. After playing local footy last year for Anglesea, he represented Vic Country in 2017.

The 193cm-tall defender is tough, competitive, has great closing speed and is able to spoil regardless of the circumstance.

Pick No. 19 - Nicholas Holman (Central District)

With selection no. 19, Gold Coast have secured Central District's Nicholas Holman.

The midfielder has spent the past two seasons performing strongly at SANFL level after previously spening time on Carlton's list where he played nine AFL games.

Holman is a ball magnet, finishing second for disposals in the South Australian state league after averaging 26 disposals per game.

His consistent form earned him a seventh place finish in the Magarey Medal.

Pick No. 33 - Mackenzie Willis (Gold Coast SUNS)

Gold Coast have re-drafted defender Mackenzie Willis with their final selection in the Rookie Draft.

The Tasmanian played two games in 2017, bringing him up to five games in total.

Despite being delisted at the end of the season, Gold Coast always intended on picking Willis back up and he has been training strongly with the main group for a number of weeks.
