Christmas is just around the corner, but the keenest of SUNS fans will be more interested in the return of footy.

The boys will be taking a short break over the next couple of weeks before hitting the training track in the new year.

We’ll have plenty of opportunities for members and fans to come along and see all the hard work first-hand, so make sure you save these important dates.

On Friday 19 January, the playing group will head to Pirate Park at Palm Beach Parklands for a Beach Open Training session.

Stick around after training to grab autographs and photos with your favourite SUNS players.

That will be followed by our Family Night Out at Bond University, Robina on Friday 23 February.

On the night, look out for plenty of fun kid’s activities and giveaways, plus the chance to interact with players.

AFL Gold Coast Junior’s will hold their sign-on too, so it’s the perfect chance to get the whole family involved in footy.

Then on Sunday 11 March, footy is officially back on the Gold Coast when we take on the Brisbane Lions in the JLT Community Series.

The match will be played at Fankhauser Reserve, the home ground of our Patron Partner Southport Sharks.

Keep an eye on goldcoastfc.com.au and our social media channels for more information about each of the events.
