After an outstanding team performance on Sunday against Geelong in Townsville, goldcoastfc.com.au takes a look at who performed well from an AFL Fantasy point of view:

Aaron Hall - $690,000

Playing predominantly on the wing, Hall racked up 17 touches at a pinpoint 94% efficiency to top-score with 91 points. Adding to his score were his three marks, six tackles and one clearance. To cap things off, Hall also kicked two goals straight, including a monster effort from inside the centre square.

The midfielder looks set to play most his footy on the wing this year which is where he thrives. Priced at just under $700k, he isn’t going to come cheap, but is a proven ball-winner and could be a point-of-difference in your side.

Nick Holman - $170,000

The SUNS’ rookie is certainly bringing bang for his buck. At a bargain price of $170,000, Holman was able to produce a respectable score of 80, the equal second-highest of anyone on the field.

Holman was a bull in the midfield on the weekend, collecting 15 disposals with nine of those being contested. He also had a game-high eight tackles, four free kicks, three tackles and kicked a goal for good measure.

If Holman can maintain this sort of output consistently he will be right in the frame for round one selection and should be locked into your starting Fantasy side.

Brayden Fiorini – $589,000

Fiorini is an exciting Fantasy prospect for 2018. During the JLT match on Sunday, the midfielder tallied 14 touches at 78% efficiency, with six of those contested. The 20-year-old also had three clearances and kicked two goals to finish on 79 points.

At $589,000, the midfielder sits somewhere between mid-pricer and premium, so Fantasy pundits will want some consistent scores out of Fiorini. However, the midfielder has been one of the stand-outs through pre-season and was arguably one of the SUNS’ best during AFLX. Keep an eye on Fiorini in next week’s JLT game before jumping on him.
