With the SUNS looking to get back to winning ways against West Coast this Saturday, Gold Coast’s match committee will be deliberating about what changes need to be made.

After starting the season in an impressive manner, with a renewed focus on contested footy and tackling pressure, we’re unlikely to see wholesale changes.

Pearce Hanley will come out of the team after his shoulder injury, with the man he replaced now available for selection.

Jack Bowes could slot straight back into the team in his half-back/midfield role after serving his one-match suspension. 

Wingman Matt Rosa was an emergency last week, showing that he is right on the cusp of selection, so he is one name that could feature on the team sheet against his former side.

Other midfielders who would be under consideration are Jesse Lonergan and Michael Barlow, who both impressed in the NEAFL side’s victory over Aspley as they collected 26 and 36 disposals, respectively.

Second-year SUN Will Brodie had 20 disposals and six tackles in the same game.
