After our round three clash against Fremantle, the team at goldcoastfc.com.au have taken a look at some of the notable stats from the game.

  

151 – Jarryd Lyons’ AFL Fantasy points tally saw him record the second biggest score across the competition. He had 30 disposals, 10 tackles and kicked two goals.

100 – Midfielder David Swallow played his 100th game and was among the best for the SUNS. Lachie Weller reached a milestone, notching up 50 games.

70 – Nearly 70% of Gold Coast’s scores came from turnovers. Their pressure on the ball resulted in seven goals and five behinds.

59 – The SUNS laid 59 tackles for the game, which was down on the opening two rounds. Despite the drop off, they still average a league-high 84 tackles per game.

15 – Jarryd Lyons, Jack Martin and Touk Miller lead the way for the SUNS for contested possession. Fremantle won the count, helped in large part by 24 from Nat Fyfe.
