The rollercoaster that was QClash 15 delivered on many fronts on Sunday afternoon, one of those being for AFL Fantasy coaches.

A number of SUNS posted respectable scores on the weekend, but goldcoastfc.com.au have analysed a couple of standout performances:

Brayden Fiorini (MID) - $599,000

He didn’t claim the Marcus Ashcroft medal, but Fiorini was close to best on ground for the SUNS in the QClash. This is backed up even further by his AFL Fantasy stats; 27 disposals, nine marks and two goals contributing to an impressive 114 points.

He’s not cheap at just shy of $600K, but Fiorini is enjoying his best season to date having played every game to start the year. At just 20-years-old he is only going to improve further, but Fiorini already has plenty of upside as a fantasy option.

Jarrod Harbrow (DEF) - $513,000

The veteran Harbrow made a noticeable impact on the field in the tense victory over Brisbane. His dash and poise coming out of the backline saved the SUNS on multiple occasions and resulted in the 29-year-old racking up a fantasy score of 97.

He had 25 disposals, six marks and three tackles on the day, and at a touch over $500k would be a handy fantasy option moving forward at a reduced price. After a 94-point performance in round one against North Melbourne, Harbrow had three below-par scores before this week’s 97. But if the evergreen defender can remain consistent, there’s no reason why he can’t be one of the competition’s leading AFL Fantasy scorers moving forward.
