Kade Kolodjashnij has impressed in the SUNS win against Redland on the weekend, polling a perfect ten votes in the NEAFL MVP Award.

Kolodjashnij was outstanding in his second game back following time off due to concussion symptoms, collecting 33 disposals, 25 kicks, 14 marks and a goal.

Jesse Lonergan was also a standout in his return from injury, polling the closest to Kolodjashnij with seven votes for his 26-disposal effort.

Will Brodie (six votes) rounded out the top three performers with 31 disposals, 17 handballs and a goal.

The NEAFL MVP Award is presented to the player uniquely judged the best in the competition by a combination of umpire and coaches votes. 

The votes are submitted post-game cast on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis. As such, the maximum amount of votes a single player can earn per match is 10 – courtesy of the maximum five votes from both umpires and coaches.
