Two SUNS players have been charged following the Round 16 match against North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium. 

Alex Sexton, has been charged with misconduct against Shaun Higgins, North Melbourne, during the first quarter of the Round 16 match between the Gold Coast Suns and North Melbourne, played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday July 8, 2018.

In summary, he can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence and a medical report from the North Melbourne Football Club, the incident was classified as misconduct. A first offence for misconduct draws a $2500 sanction. The player can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.
