Matt Shaw was a regularly throughout the 2011 season, and impressed many with his endeavour and second and third efforts on the wing or as a half-forward.
Shaw played 15 games and is expected to play many more as he gets bigger and stronger.
Melbourne-raised Matt Shaw arrived at the GC SUNS in 2012 as one of twelve 17-year-old priority picks.
Before then he was a standout under 18’s player with the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup and performed well for Vic Country during the 2009 National Championships.
