Voting is now open for the Austworld Player of the Round for Round 7 following Sunday’s tussle against Collingwood at the MCG.

Returning to the MCG for the first time as a SUN, Levi Casboult proved a handful for the Pies defence, leading all comers with four contested marks eventuating in an equal career-high four goals – three of those coming before half-time.

Jarrod Witts showed why he’s still one of the finest talls in the competition, dominating the ruck battle with 44 hitouts to go with 20 disposals, and an impressive goal assist to fellow co-captain Touk Miller, who was equally as impressive.

The ever-consistent Miller racked up a staggering 17 contested possessions and didn’t stop running all day, finishing with 36 touches and two majors in the final term.

The co-captain was the only player to have more disposals than Noah Anderson who continued to show maturity beyond his years in midfield with six clearances from 32 touches.

Lachie Weller provided some spark with trademark running off half-back, regularly moving the SUNS out of danger and launching towards forward 50.

Mabior Chol bagged himself three goals whilst also being involved in plenty of scoring plays for his teammates.
