GOLD Coast has not lost confidence after their loss to Adelaide, but young forward Callum Ah Chee says the SUNS must continue to be bold with the ball to keep their season on track.
Ahead of a trip to Etihad Stadium on Saturday night to take on winless North Melbourne, Ah Chee said the 2-3 Suns had taken some lessons from the Crows.
"We thought we could have taken the game on a bit more in the first half, be a bit more bold with the ball," he said following Monday's team review.
"We went into our shells a bit when they got a run on us.
"The boys just need to be confident as a group that we can take the game on, and when we do, good things come.
"We're 2-3, it's still the start of the season. We'll take some confidence out of those two wins."
The other area of concern for Gold Coast was Adelaide's physicality, with SUNS coach Rodney Eade saying his team got pushed off the ball too easily.

"They're a good opposition, but we did get beaten at the source a fair bit," Ah Chee said.
"We showed it against Hawthorn and Carlton as well, it's there, we can do it.
"No one likes a loss, so we'll use that as fire to take into next week."
