Pearce Hanley (DEF): $414,000

After playing just three games last year, Pearce Hanley comes into the 2019 AFL Fantasy season with a hefty discount which could entice some coaches.

Hanley had two injury-affected games last year which saw him accrue scores of 24 (shoulder injury), 67 and 90 (hamstring injury) – resulting in him being priced at an average of 57.

When fit, Hanley has the potential to average close to 90, meaning he has plenty of cash to gain if he can stay on the park this season.

He injured his hamstring in Round 21 last year, but has since completed his rehab and barring any setbacks will be fully fit for the upcoming JLT Community Series.

He’ll be using those games to push his case for a senior recall, but it will also give Fantasy coaches the chance to see what his role on-field will be.

If he resumes his post as a ball-winning half-back, Hanley is every chance to post some high scores to start the year and increase in value.

He’ll be a unique selection, but Pearce Hanley could be the key to some crucial cash generation in your backline to get your team off to a flyer this season.
