Some of Gold Coast’s best AFL Fantasy prospects have been analysed ahead of Round 17 against Adelaide at Metricon Stadium.

Jarrod Witts (RUC - $680,000)

With the second-highest selected ruck in the game Max Gawn missing Round 16 with injury, Jarrod Witts rewarded those Fantasy coaches who traded him in with a score of 106. The score is Witts’ sixth century this season, with the durable ruckman lifting his average to 101 from his 15 games.

Witts only had 36 hitouts on the weekend but made up for it with 19 disposals and a goal. He continues to be the third-highest scoring ruck in the game and comes up against Adelaide this week who he scored 123 against earlier in the year.

Darcy Macpherson (FWD - $606,000)

Macpherson continued his form with another solid Fantasy score of 102 on the weekend. The 21-year-old’s score consisted of 24 disposals, three marks, five tackles and two goals.

Macpherson presents value with his midfield role allowing him to score freely, despite being classified as a forward in Fantasy. He’s averaging 89 for the year and has a great match-up this week against Adelaide. The Crows are one of the easiest teams for midfielders to score against in AFL Fantasy and will give Macpherson an opportunity to boost his average further. Owned by 73% of coaches in Draft formats, Macpherson would be a viable option to start on the field this week.
