A pair of SUNS continued their impressive AFL Fantasy runs in Round 17 against Adelaide, and their performances have been analysed below:

Jarrod Witts (RUC - $686,000)

Witts just keeps getting the job done in Fantasy. On the weekend he had his lowest hitout count of the season with 30, but still managed to crack the ton with a score of 104. That was thanks largely to his kick-to-handball ratio from his 17 disposals (12 kicks, five handballs), three marks and five tackles.

Witts has been under pressure to hold his spot as the Fantasy competition’s third-best scorer, with Saints ruckman Rowan Marshall starting to find some solid form. However Witts’ consistency is hard to ignore with three-straight games over 100 and only three scores below 90. His ownership is now up to 8% and he faces Blues ruckman Matthew Kreuzer in Round 18.

Darcy Macpherson (FWD - $621,000)

Macpherson similarly is on a streak of 100-plus scores, registering 108 on the weekend. His score consisted of 14 kicks, four handballs, six marks and nine tackles.

Macpherson continues to offer value as a forward, given his amount of minutes played in the midfield. It’s allowed him to lift his average in the last three games to 105, and his season average is pushing 90. The 21-year-old would be a great point of difference for your Fantasy Classic side heading into the final six weeks of the season and should be owned in almost all Draft leagues.
