Mitch Riordan comes to the SUNS after being selected with pick 2 in the 2019 Mid-Season Draft. The 19-year-old is a dynamic inside midfielder who can also play off half-back and possesses a burst of speed which helps him accelerate from stoppages.
Riordan played for 10 games for the SUNS in the NEAFL as he adjusted to his new environment as a professional athlete. After signing a new contract in the off season, Mitch will be looking to put his hand up for senior selection in season 2020.
