Tiarna Ernst comes to the SUNS with an AFLW premiership already to her name with the Western Bulldogs. Ernst played in the 2018 Dogs’ premiership and has played all 22 games possible across her three years at the club.
Ernst is a doctor in her life away from football, specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology, and delivering babies and caring for women during pregnancy. The 31-year-old played as a centre-half-back in her time at the Bulldogs but at 180cm, has been trialled as a key forward in the 2019 QW Winter Series with the SUNS where she has excelled.
