Field manual

GMHBA Stadium, or Kardinia Park as it was known, is Victoria's only venue for AFL Premiership matches outside Melbourne and was built in 1941.

The newest addition to the ground was the magnificent Reg Hickey Stand, opened in 2005 and named in honour of the former player and coach who helped deliver four premierships to Geelong. Formerly known as Kardinia Park, Shell Stadium, Baytec Stadium, Skilled Stadium and Simonds Stadium, GMHBA Stadium has been Geelong’s home ground for the past 60 years.
