The Gold Coast has thrown its support behind the SUNS, with all general public tickets sold-out for the Round 18 primetime clash with Collingwood on Friday, July 11.
A SUNS Blockbuster membership is now the only way to gain access to the match.
The club has seen unprecedented demand for the club’s first Friday night fixture at People First Stadium.
Gold Coast SUNS Chief Executive Mark Evans said, “We have seen extraordinary demand for this match which has seen ticketing now exhausted almost a month in advance.
“This is the fifth time since the beginning of 2024 in which all general public tickets have been sold for a Gold Coast SUNS match at People First Stadium, it’s fast becoming the hottest ticket in town.
“The support we have received from the Gold Coast community as we embark on this fearless new era as a club has been simply incredible. Let’s paint the town red as we welcome the Pies to our home under the Friday night lights.
“Gold Coasters, if you haven’t secured your seats, get in fast with a SUNS Blockbuster membership, which also grants you access to a second home game throughout 2025.”
The Round 18 meeting will be the third consecutive sell-out between the two clubs. The most recent meeting in 2024 was attended by 23,029 spectators – the third-largest crowd for an AFL match at People First Stadium.
The highest attendance for a GC SUNS match at People First Stadium is 24,032, also set against Collingwood in 2013.
All attendees must hold a valid match day ticket or membership.
