The SUNS VFL side will be bolstered by the inclusion of five AFL listed players for Sunday morning’s curtain raiser clash at Engie Stadium.
Sean Lemmens, David Swallow, Leo Lombard, Lloyd Johnston and Caleb Lewis all come into the side that went down to Geelong by 3 points a fortnight ago.
The inclusions add significant experience to a SUNS side which also boasts 10 teenagers including a host of StreetSmarts SUNS Academy members.
The two sides have split four previous meetings with two wins apiece. Sunday’s match gets underway at 9:15am at Engie Stadium and will be streamed live on AFL and VFL apps and websites.
