Tom Berry will make his long-awaited return to the field in this afternoon’s VFL clash against Collingwood.
Berry hasn’t played since Round 2 having been sidelined for the majority of the year with a knee complaint, and is one of several inclusions that adds a wealth of experience to Tate Kaesler’s side.
Alex Sexton and Ned Moyle both return from AFL duties, while mid-season draftee Caleb Lewis also returns following a two-week suspension.
In total, 15 AFL-listed players will run out for the SUNS in tonight’s curtain raiser.
The two sides haven’t met at VFL level since 2022 when the SUNS won a close encounter in Melbourne, squaring the head-to-head ledger at 1-1.
Gate 3 opens at 3:15pm ahead of a 3:35pm first bounce. A valid ticket for the AFL match is required to enter People First Stadium.
