Two StreetSmarts SUNS Academy prospects have earned selection in the U18 Boys All Australian team, following the conclusion of this year’s national championships.

Dynamic and explosive defender Dylan Patterson has been named in the side at half-back while inside midfield talent Koby Coulson also earned selection in the 24-player team, named on the interchange.

Patterson’s speed and line-break capacity was a key weapon for the Allies with the 18-year-old averaging 19.8 disposals at 73.4% efficiency across the Championships, with his match-winning flair on full display in the Allies’ exciting win over Western Australia. An All Australian at Under 16 level in 2023, he is also member of the 2025 Marsh AFL National Academy

Coulson averaged 24.2 disposals (11.8 contested) with four clearances and 4.8 tackles and was named in the Allies’ best on two occasions, putting his elite footy IQ and clean hands on display regularly at stoppages.

The All Australian Team and Larke Medal voting panel comprised Kevin Sheehan (AFL Talent Ambassador – Chair), Paul Hamilton (AFL National Talent Development & Competitions Manager), Tarkyn Lockyer (AFL National Academy Manager) and AFL club representatives Rhy Gieschen (Richmond), Michael Jordan (St Kilda), John Giramondo (Sydney Swans), Duane Massey (West Coast Eagles) and Luke Williams (Western Bulldogs).
