The AFL has today locked in its Round 24 fixture with the SUNS’ final two home and away fixtures now confirmed.

Gold Coast will head to Adelaide to take on Port Adelaide in its scheduled Round 24 fixture at the Adelaide Oval (8:10pm AEST/7:40pm local) before facing Essendon on home turf to round out the season five days later.

The SUNS and Bombers postponed clash following the Cyclone Alfred-impacted opening round has been locked in for Wednesday, August 27 at People First Stadium, first bounce 7:20pm.

Tickets for both fixtures will be on sale to club members on Monday, August 18 and the general public on Tuesday, August 19.

“While it’s unconventional, we’re looking forward to rounding out what has already been a historic home and away season for the club here at People First Stadium on a Wednesday night,” GC SUNS CEO Mark Evans said.

“SUNS members will have access to the game as per their regular membership entitlements, and tickets will be available from Monday, August 18.”

The SUNS take on Carlton in Round 22 before returning to People First Stadium in Round 23 to face the GWS Giants.
