Matt Rowell has soared into the Top 3 in the Coaches Votes standings following a best-on-ground 10-vote showing against Carlton on Saturday night.
Rowell received a perfect five votes apiece from Damien Hardwick and Michael Voss, drawing level in equal second alongside Adelaide’s Jordan Dawson on 88 votes.
Incredibly, the pair trail SUNS captain Noah Anderson who holds the outright lead with 93 votes following Round 22.
Touk Miller’s eight votes sees him as the third SUNS player inside the award’s top 20 (58 votes total) with Ben King (six votes) and Sam Collins (one vote) also polling from the club record 14th win of the season.
The SUNS have three matches remaining in the home and away season, beginning with the GWS Giants at People First Stadium on Saturday.
