Master promoter and GWS Giants Coach Kevin Sheedy last night laid down a challenge to Gold Coast SUNS counterpart, Guy McKenna.
Sheedy baited McKenna via Twitter to accept a personal bet, as to which team would reach 10,000 Members first.
Battle lines were drawn and McKenna and the GC SUNS have accepted the challenge.
Now, as both Clubs race to the 10K membership mark, it can be revealed that, the losing coach will parade down their local beach in a pair of the rival Club’s budgie smugglers.
Gold Coast fans must now join the race for the GC SUNS to reach 10,000 members before the GWS Giants. As a 2013 Member we need you to help us win this challenge by introducing your friends and family to the GC SUNS.
It's the race to 10K members and if every member introduced just one member to the Club we could achieve this tomorrow!
Guy McKenna quipped "Kevin Sheedy has achieved all there is to achieve in AFL football, however I can't imagine that in the twilight of his coaching career he would be spending the Christmas break preparing for a near nude streak along Bondi."
