The Gold Coast SUNS have made one change ahead of Sunday's match against Melbourne at the MCG.

Brandon Matera comes into the side replacing Clay Cameron, who is expected to miss at least two matches with a shoulder injury.

Matera returns to the team after being handed a one-match suspension by the AFL Match Review Panel following a collision with Brisbane captain Jed Adcock during the GC SUNS' round 3 victory over the Lions.

The SUNS named a 25-man squad on Thursday evening, and on Friday confirmed Timmy Sumner, Tom Murphy and Jeremy Taylor would be named as emergencies for the game.
