SUNS Academy and Broadbeach Cats product Jake Rogers has been named in the final 23-player team to take on the Swans, coming into the side for his AFL debut in place of Malcolm Rosas Jnr (hamstring).
On the emergency list are Rory Atkins, Darcy Macpherson and Alex Sexton.
Sam Flanders will play his 50th AFL match on Sunday with the SUNS also looking to extend a strong recent record at the SCG - Gold Coast has won three of its last four matches at the venue.
