Gold Coast will open their 2016 campaign against Grand Finalists NT Thunder in Darwin and Aspley the following week at home.

The SUNS will host the Giants in the first ever NEAFL game in Townsville in Round 4 and will welcome their first bye the following week.

Four of their next six games are against AFL opposition, before the Suns finish off the season against Redland, the Giants, Southport and Aspley. Gold Coast has been scheduled six curtain raisers from seven home AFL games in 2016.
