It’s unanimous. According to Gold Coast coach Rodney Eade and his Essendon counterpart John Worsfold, midfielder Aaron Hall earned best on ground honours in Saturday’s clash between the SUNS and the Bombers at Metricon Stadium.

Hall scored a perfect 10 AFLCA votes for his 36-disposal, two-goal performance. Gary Ablett tallied eight votes after notching 34 disposals while Tom Lynch scored five for his bag of four goals against Essendon.

Steven May and Nick Malceski also earned a vote each.

Every round, the AFL coaches vote for the best players from their game. The coaches vote for five players, giving them a mark from 1-5.

The maximum a player can score is 10 (with 5 votes from both coaches).
