Four rounds into the 2016 season and there seems to be no stopping Gold Coast vice-captain Tom Lynch.

For the fourth consecutive week, Lynch has polled in the AFLCA vote and is the only Gold Coast SUNS player to feature after his team’s loss to the Brisbane Lions on Saturday.

The key forward walked away with a total of six votes for the game, solidifying his second place overall standing and bringing him within one vote of Swan Luke Parker, who did not poll this round.

Fellow SUN Aaron Hall currently sit in equal eighth on 20 votes.

Lynch has also been named by AFL Media at full forward in the round four team of the week. The 23-year-old was named at centre half forward in round two and three.

Following each game of the 2016 season, coaches from both teams vote on who they believed to be most instrumental to the game. Each coach votes for five players, allocating a score form 1-5. The maximum a player can register for a single game is 10 votes.
