Thompson, Bowes and Fiorini confirmed in final 22

Rory Thompson is confirmed to make his return from injury for Gold Coast’s historic match against Port Adelaide in Shanghai.

The SUNS have finalised their final 22-man lineup ahead of the round eight clash at Jiangwan Sports Centre on Sunday.

Brayden Fiorini and Jack Bowes round out the inclusions for the final team, who alongside Thompson replace the injured David Swallow, Matt Rosa and Callum Ah Chee.

As reported on goldcoastfc.com.au on Wednesday, all three travelling emergencies have joined the team in Shanghai.

The Gold Coast SUNS alongside Port Adelaide will make history on Sunday when the first AFL match for premiership points gets underway in China.

The match will be broadcast live back into Australia on the Seven Network, throughout China on CCTV, Shanghai TV and Guangzhou TV and internationally on the Watch AFL app.
