Gary Ablett is set to play his 300th game on Saturday after completing the teams main training session without complaint on Thursday morning.

Ablett missed last week’s match with a calf injury trained freely at in front of fans at Metricon Stadium.

The former SUNS skipper and dual Brownlow Medallist is due to become the 81st player in VFL/AFL history to reach 300 games.

To mark the occasion, the Gold Coast SUNS will wear a commemorative guernsey against North Melbourne at Metricon Stadium on Saturday.

The guernsey proudly displays the specially designed Gaz300 logo on the front and back plus details the illustrious achievements of the Little Master in the front side panels.

For those wishing to add this historic piece of memorabilia to their collection, a Gary Ablett match worn and signed Gaz300 guernsey will be available via auction after the game.

Members and fans will also be able to purchase commemorative stubby coolers and caps online plus badges and keyrings in-store via the SUNS Shop.
