After a tension-fuelled victory in QClash 15, the SUNS have made two changes heading into Round 6 against the Crows at Adelaide Oval.

Michael Barlow will make his highly anticipated return to senior football after averaging an impressive 41.5 disposals in the NEAFL across his two games.

Senior Coach Stuart Dew says that the veteran's form has been strong, but he has had to bide his time for a chance at senior level.

His inclusion means that we may see some positional changes among the playing group.

"Michael Barlow’s come in to the team, he’s had real solid form, he’s just been waiting for an opportunity," Dew said.

"With Darcy coming out, they’re not like for like but we think we can manufacture a different look."

SUNS Academy product Max Spencer will also make his first appearance of the season coming off the interchange.

Spencer has shown some good form of late and his inclusion is reward for effort.

"He’s been in solid form in the NEAFL team so he’s been rewarded for that and a little bit also with a structural sense against Adelaide’s predicted forward line."

Small forward Darcy Macpherson, who fractured his fibula in the win against Brisbane, comes out of the side and will be on the sidelines for up to 14 weeks.

Michael Rischitelli has been omitted but remains an emergency for the Adelaide clash.
