The Gold Coast SUNS have been forced to make one change to the side which delivered the biggest win in club history.

Rory Thompson will be the only SUN missing from the team that triumphed Hawthorn by a record 86-points, with the full back sustaining a quad complaint at training on Thursday.

He will be replaced by emerging defender Jack Leslie, who will be supported in the backline by Steven May, Jarrod Harbrow, Jesse Joyce, Kade Kolodjashnij and Adam Saad.

The team can expect to face a spirited Carlton outfit after the Blues registered their first win of the season, following their upset in the wet over Essendon at the G’ last weekend.

Milestone man Gary Ablett will play his 100th game in the red and gold, becoming the fifth SUNS’ player to do so.
