The Gold Coast SUNS have made three changes ahead of Sunday’s match against the Sydney Swans at Metricon Stadium.

Karmichael Hunt will take his place in the senior team marking his first AFL appearance for the year.

Rory Thompson and Harley Bennell will also return from wrist and calf injuries, respectively.

Hunt (minor knee complaint), Danny Stanley and Trent McKenzie (both shoulder) will need to be passed fit at Saturday’s final training session, but General Manager - Football Operations, Marcus Ashcroft, fully expects the senior trio to be given the green light.

“We do have a couple of players that will need to complete training but we are confident they will be okay,” he said.

Alex Sexton, Aaron Hall and Sean Lemmens have been named as emergencies for the match.
