Saturday night marked the final game of the season for the Gold Coast SUNS, which means fans only have one more chance to cast their vote in the 2016 Fans Player of the Year award.

The class of second-gamer Brayden Fiorini oozed in the midfield against Port Adelaide, with the 19-year-old finishing with a team-high 32 disposals, 12 tackles, seven marks, five clearances and two goals.

Fellow midfielder Touk Miller finished his second season off in solid form, registering 28 disposals, seven clearances and six inside 50s. He is the SUNS’ overall leader in tackles for 2016. Aaron Hall (27 disposals) and Matt Rosa (28 disposals) also made strong contributions in the midfield.

Steven May’s leadership was tangible as always, finishing on 22 disposals, four rebound 50s and nine marks. He was ably assisted down back by Jack Martin (23 disposals) with Adam Saad looking back to his best with several dazzling runs out of the defensive 50.

Steven May has jumped to second on the season leaderboard after collecting 33 votes in Round 22 against Collingwood. Tom Lynch still sits comfortably in first place with skipper Gary Ablett rounding out the top three thus far.
