TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Promoter 

1. The promoter is Gold Coast Football Club Limited (ABN 47 144 555 822), of People First Stadium, 296 Nerang-Broadbeach Road, Carrara QLD 4211 (“Promoter” or “GCFC”). 

Eligibility 

2. Your club must: 

  • Have an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • Have a bank account in the name of the eligible organization
  • Be part of the Gold Coast SUNS recruitment zone within Queensland
  • Individuals are not eligible 
  • Applications received after Sunday 9 August will not be eligible
  • Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and associated agencies are ineligible.  


Promotion Period 

3. The competition commences on 12:00am 6 July, 2026 AEST and closes at 11:59pm on 9 August 2026 

 How to Enter 

4. To be eligible for $10,000 worth of grants: 

  • Submit an application that showcases your club’s commitment to road safety. 
  • Resources and tips can be found here 
  • Submissions can be via video, description or photo summarizing your activity.  


Judging Criteria 

5. Applications will be assessed by

  • a Selection Committee that consists of representatives from the Gold Coast SUNS and the Queensland Government (StreetSmarts). 
  • Each application will be assessed on its individual merit focusing on commitment to and support of road safety initiatives. 
  • All judging decisions are final, and correspondence will not be entered into. 
  • Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified 

 
Prize Details 

6. There will be 1 major prize winner, receiving a $5000 grant, and 2 runners up, each receiving a $2500 grant. 

Notification of Winner 

7. Winning clubs will be required to provide all requested information within two weeks of first contact (14 August 2026) in order to receive any funds. 

8. Grant funds will be transferred to winning club once prize is claimed.  

9. The winner of the grants (or their winning entry) may feature in associated promotion, including StreetSmarts and SUNS social media and/or website. 

10. Promotion may not be limited to winners. By entering the competition, your club agrees to your entry potentially being used for promotional purposes and confirms that any participating parties have agreed to be featured. 


Prize Conditions

11. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 

12. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to invalidate any entries (and entrants who submit or cause those entries to be submitted) which it reasonably suspects have been submitted:  

  • using false, incorrect, fraudulent or misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and contact information; 
  • through the use of multiple identities, email addresses or accounts; and/or 
  • in any way in contravention of these Terms and Conditions 

13. The Promoter may cancel, suspend, or modify the competition due to unforeseen circumstances.  

14. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage except where liability cannot be excluded by law. 

15. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of identity prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. Prize winner may be required to sign any form required by the Promoter including without limitation a legal release and indemnity form or a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize 

16. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority 

17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, Eligible Entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values. 

  • Unless the contrary intention appears, a reference in these terms or in any advertisement relating to this competition, to Australian dollars, dollars, AUD$ or $ is a reference to the lawful currency of Australia. All references to dollar amounts are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).

How to Enter

  1. Eligible Entrants must complete the digital link (questionnaire) provided via official communications from the Gold Coast

Notification of Winner

  1. The prize winner will drawn on 2/09/2026 at the Austworld Centre, Level 1 296 Nerang Broadbeach Rd, Carrara, 4211 QLD via random selection. The winner will be notified via phone call and writing within 2 days (by end of day of 3/09/2026) of the selection to organise the claiming of their The result of the draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Promotion Overview

By participating in the Junior Mascot Experience at Round 1 and Round 7 AFLW promotion (the "Promotion"), entrants agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

The promotion begins on 10th of August 2026 to 11th of September 2026.

How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  1. Submit the entry form with their full name, child’s first name, child’s age, email address, and mobile number.
  2. To be eligible winner must be between the ages of 5 and 12 years old.
  3. Upon completion, participants are eligible for a chance to win a prize.

Each person is allowed one entry. Multiple entries are not permitted.

How to Win

  • Prize will be drawn at Austworld Centre, LVL 1, 296 Nerang-Broadbeach Road, Carrara, Qld. 4211, Thursday 13th of August for Round 1 and Friday 11th of September for Round 7. Winner will be notified by email.
