In honour of the traditional custodians of our land, the Yugambeh Youth Choir performed the SUNS song in Yugambeh language. This project has been made possible through the Indigenous Languages Grant program from the Queensland Government
The Gold Coast SUNS would like to respectfully acknowledge all the traditional custodian groups from the Yugambeh language speaking region. We acknowledge all First Nations people and Traditional Custodians of Australia’s land and waterways. We pay our respects to Elders of the past to the present and those of the future as they hold the stories, song lines, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
